عضویت ایران در اتحادیه بین المللی چیرلیدینگ
همدان- کمیته چیرلیدینگ ایران (CCI)، بهعنوان یکی از زیرمجموعههای انجمن چندورزشی او-اسپرت ایران، پس از حدود یک دهه فعالیت مستمر، موفق به عضویت در اتحادیه بینالمللی چیرلیدینگ (ICU) شد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی اوسایری، این عضویت در جریان مجمع عمومی سال 2026 این اتحادیه به تصویب رسید و بدین ترتیب، ایران به جمع کشورهای عضو نهاد حاکمیتی جهانی ورزش چیرلیدینگ پیوست.
اتحادیه بینالمللی چیرلیدینگ (ICU) بهعنوان مرجع رسمی این رشته در سطح جهان، مسئولیت تدوین قوانین، برگزاری مسابقات بینالمللی و توسعه فدراسیونهای ملی را بر عهده دارد و با دارا بودن میلیونها ورزشکار در سراسر جهان، یکی از نهادهای فعال در حوزه ورزشهای نوظهور بهشمار میرود.
ورزش چیرلیدینگ در سال 2021 از سوی کمیته بینالمللی المپیک (IOC) به رسمیت شناخته شد و در رویدادهای چندورزشی بینالمللی از جمله بازیهای جهانی (World Games) حضور دارد. این رشته همچنین در چارچوب برنامههای فدراسیون بینالمللی ورزشهای دانشگاهی (FISU) و رویدادهایی نظیر بازیهای جهانی کارگران (WSG) نیز گنجانده شده است.
چیرلیدینگ در ایران از سال 1393 در قالب رشتهای از بخش ورزشهای هنری انجمن او-اسپرت جمهوری اسلامی ایران آغاز به فعالیت کرد و در سال 1398 با تشکیل کمیته چیرلیدینگ، ساختار رسمیتری به خود گرفت.
انجمن او-اسپرت ایران بهعنوان یک نهاد چندورزشی دارای مجوز از وزارت ورزش و جوانان و مورد شناسایی کمیته ملی المپیک، متولی توسعه رشتههایی از جمله ورزشهای هنری، ذهنی، تمرکزی، بامانع و مبارزهای در کشور است.
Iran Joins the International Cheerleading Union
Hamedan — The Iran Cheerleading Committee (CCI), operating under the O-Sport Multisport Association of I.R. Iran (OSAIRI), has officially been admitted as a member of the International Cheer Union (ICU) after nearly a decade of continuous activity.
According to reports, this membership was approved during the ICU General Assembly in 2026, bringing Iran into the community of countries affiliated with the global governing body of cheerleading.
The International Cheer Union (ICU), as the official worldwide authority for the sport, is responsible for establishing regulations, organizing international competitions, and supporting the development of national federations. With millions of athletes across the globe, it is considered one of the leading organizations in emerging sports.
Cheerleading was officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2021 and is featured in international multi-sport events such as the World Games. The sport is also included within the framework of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) programs and events like the World Sports Games (WSG).
Cheerleading in Iran began its activities in 2014 as part of the artistic sports division of the Iran O-Sport Association. In 2019, with the establishment of the Cheerleading Committee, it adopted a more formal organizational structure.
The OSAIRI, a multisport organization licensed by the Ministry of Sports and Youth and recognized by the National Olympic Committee, is responsible for developing disciplines including artistic, mental, focus-based, obstacle, and combat sports in the country.
